Megastro Warranty Policy

Applicable Products

This warranty policy applies to the following Megastro products: 

  • Megastro Pro-Edition Laptop Stand – 10 Years Warranty 
  • Megastro MVP-Edition Laptop Stand – 5 Years Warranty 
  • Megastro MVPmini Mobile Stand – 5 Years Warranty

1. Warranty Duration

The warranty period is calculated from the original date of purchase as mentioned on the invoice. Warranty validity continues from the original invoice date irrespective of repair or replacement.

2. Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal and intended use that affect the product’s functionality.

During the warranty period, Megastro may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model (new or refurbished).

3. Replacement Policy

Only one (1) warranty claim or replacement is allowed per product per Order ID during the entire warranty period. Any repaired or replaced product does not extend, renew, or reset the original warranty duration.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by: 

  • Accidental damage, drops, impact, or bending 
  • Physical deformation or forceful adjustment 
  • Stability-related concerns, as stability depends on laptop weight, size, placement, and surface conditions 
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, discoloration, or finish wear 
  • Normal wear and tear 
  • Overloading beyond specified or recommended weight limits 
  • Improper usage, mishandling, or storage
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alteration

Bent or deformed products are not covered under warranty, as bending is considered physical or accidental damage.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty request, customers must submit the official warranty evaluation form along with:

  • Valid purchase invoice
  • Correct Order ID
  • Clear images and/or videos accurately showing the reported issue
Submission of the warranty form does not guarantee approval. All requests are evaluated based on the product’s condition and compliance with this warranty policy.

6. Evaluation & Timelines

  • Warranty evaluation may take up to 48 working hours 
  • Once approved, repair or replacement may take between 7–30 days 
  • Megastro will aim to complete the process as quickly as possible; however, delays of up to 30 days may occur in rare cases 
  • Status updates will be shared via email and/or WhatsApp

7. Shipping Charges

A shipping charge ranging from 48 to 118, depending on the pickup location, will be applicable. This charge must be borne by the customer after warranty approval.

8. Claim Rejection

Megastro reserves the right to reject a warranty claim if:

  • The reported issue falls under warranty exclusions 
  • The product shows signs of accidental or physical damage 
  • The product has already been replaced once under the same Order ID 
  • Incorrect, misleading, or incomplete information is provided by the customer

Megastro’s decision after evaluation shall be final and binding.

9. Limitation of Liability

Megastro’s liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement of the product only. Under no circumstances shall Megastro be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, productivity, or business. Liability shall not exceed the original purchase value of the product.

10. Jurisdiction

This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

11. Acceptance of Warranty

Terms By purchasing or using a Megastro product, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this warranty policy as available on www.megastro.in.

Return Policy 

At Megastro, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for any reason, you find a manufacturing defect in your item, we are here to assist you.

Eligibility for Return:

  1. Manufacturing Defects Only: Returns are accepted only for items with verified manufacturing defects. Please inspect your product upon receipt and notify us immediately if there are any issues.
  2. Time Frame: All return requests must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
  3. Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and accessories.

Refund Policy 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@megastro.in and send your item to the address given my customer care.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Policy 

All orders above Rs499/- would have free shipping, all domestic orders would be delivered under 7 days. Expedited Shipment is only available for those who request quick shipping at an additional cost.  Orders would be processed within 1-2 day(s) unless otherwise stated.

To return your product, you should mail your product to address given by customer care(+91 8006656563).

Returns are only applicable in the case of manufacturing defects or damages that occur during shipping of the product. Items cannot be returned by stating that the product is not needed anymore.

Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning your item, and shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Returns must be made within 15 days.
